Offering More Than 1,056 Different Wines

TAMPA, Fla., July 3, 2019 –The Columbia in Tampa’s historic Ybor City is a wine lovers paradise, offering more than 1,056 different wines.

This breadth of wine selections is one of the reasons the Columbia, Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, has earned the “Best of Award of Excellence” distinction for an outstanding collection of Spanish wines from Wine Spectator magazine for the 16th year in a row. To be considered for this recognition, a restaurant’s wine list must contain 350 or more wines from top vineyards in several regions, along with vertical offerings from major regions.

The Columbia’s 200-page wine list features an inventory exceeding 50,000 bottles: www.columbiarestaurant.com/The-Columbia-Experience/Wine

The Columbia’s wine list also has been recognized by many of Spain’s leading winemakers, including Pablo Álvarez of Bodegas Vega Sicilia as having the world’s best collection of wines from Spain, and the most complete. The collection also contains a large selection of verticals from some of California’s leading family-owned wineries.

Wine Spectator magazine annually acknowledges restaurants that show passion and commitment when it comes to wine.
