Restaurant ConceptSpanish/Cuban Cuisine. Founded in 1905 by Cuban immigrant Casimiro Hernandez Sr. The flagship restaurant in Ybor City is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world. Today, all six Columbia locations are owned and operated by 4th and 5th generation members of the Hernandez Gonzmart family. The family’s seventh location, Columbia Restaurant Cafe at Tampa International Airport is operated in partnership with HMSHost.
Additional InformationReservations accepted, children’s menu, Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men, open daily for lunch and dinner. Takeout available on all lunch and dinner menu items.
Columbia Restaurants in Ybor City, Sarasota, St. Augustine, Sand Key and Celebration, along with Columbia Restaurant Cafe at Tampa International Airport are open open 365-days-a-year, including all holidays.
Columbia Cafe at Tampa Bay History Center on the Riverwalk is closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
